Ikedinma Chidera, 16,To Represent Nigeria In Miss Teen Contest In Australia

SIXTEEN years old Miss Nigeria Teen, Ikedinma Favour Chidera, who recently won the beauty pageant in the teenager category, will represent Nigeria tomorrow at the Miss Teen Australia being organised by World Supermodel Pageant in Australia.
The annual event, which was created in 2004 as a pageant competition for young women between ages 16 and 19, is scheduled to take place between November 18 and 25 in Fiji Island.
Miss Teen Supermodel Pageant is a choreographed show that will highlight both local and international fashions from leading designers in Australia.
According to the organisers, finalist will enjoy snorkeling reef, canoeing and photo shoots, in addition in competing for the prestigious title of Miss Teen Supermodel (MTS).
"The winner of the Miss Teen Supermodel pageant title will bear much responsibility as role model for other teenage supermodels to follow, the healthy life style she lives, the clothes she wears, the beauty products and make-up. She chooses the food she eats and will set standard around the world for other teenage supermodels to follow," the organisers said.
In an interview with The Guardian before the Nigeria's contingent left for Fiji, Ikedinma, who hails from Isuochi Umoneochi Local Government Area of Abia State, expressed determination to win the crown.
The aspiring model is a student of Biology at the University of Abuja.  Ikedinma said  she is going to Australia, not only to win the crown, but to do Nigeria proud.
